Vintage Indonesian Rice Chest

This is an original Indonesian rice chest from the early 1900s

Rare and Original antique rice chest from Java. The chest is of large single teak wood planks, with original cast iron hardware of Dutch design and Javanese craftsmanship. Commonly used as storage for rice by local Indonesians due to sturdy and reliable construction.
