Dr. Cronk Stoneware Beer Bottle

Warren Cronk lived in Albany, NY in the 1840s and made alcohol-free sarsaparilla beer which was sold in stoneware bottles such as this one. The beer was popular due to The Temperance Movement (Prohibition). Bottle is stamped "Dr. Cronk" in cobalt blue. Blue smudge to the right of the stamp.
